I want to introduce you all to the most adorable hair straightener I have ever seen, the TS-2 Detailer Tourmaline Mini Styling Iron. Upon opening the package, I instantly fell in love with its petite demeanor and wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t for me.
You see, the Detailer is designed for pixie cuts like Victoria Beckham, not my long locks, which are similar to those Mandy Moore is currently sportin’. So, I enlisted the help of my friend Jana (who has a bob going on) to test out this precious iron to see if it’s just as useful as it is attractive. More »

How many times have you had to change what you’re wearing before going out? If you’re like most women, it probably takes about four outfit transformations before you’re good to go. One of the most troublesome ages for women of all areas is the upper arm. Not everyone has beautifully sculpted biceps and triceps like Jessica Biel.

As I typically do where trends are concerned, I came a little late to the mineral pigments party. My foray into this brave, not-so-new world was long overdue – so recently, I opted to finally give pigments a try. Skin care obsessive that I am, I already knew that ColoreScience, which is popular with dermatologists and plastic surgeons because of the company’s focus on skin protection, was the right brand to start out with.
I picked up the ColoreScience Skin Perfecting Kit, which contains their Line Tamer (a really good nighttime skin care product), Corrector Kit, “Sunforgettable” loose translucent powder, and a calming aromatherapy gem spritzer. Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Um, ok…where’s the mineral pigment?” Read on, my lovelies…this is the important part!

I don’t know about you, but there are few things that I despise more than getting my hair tangled in a brush. This happens frequently when I brush through wet hair, causing some serious breakage.
Recently introduced to Olivia Garden, a brand of hair tools, I think I might have found a solution to my mane madness. I have been using the company’s Ceramic + Ion Professional Brushes and am quite pleased thus far.
